The Hyde Park Youth Basketball Association is powered by volunteers who care deeply about our kids and our community. From coaching and mentoring to helping with games and events, our volunteers play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and positive experience for every player.

Whether you’re a parent, former player, or community member, your time and energy make a lasting impact.

 

Volunteer Roles May Include:

• Coaching or assisting with practices and games

• Scorekeeping and timekeeping

• Event and game-day support

• Mentorship for younger players

 

Safety & Background Requirements

To ensure the safety of all participants, all volunteers are required to complete both:

• CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) check

• SORI (Sex Offender Registry Information) check

 

These checks are required every year and are standard practice for youth programs.

 

How to Submit Your Forms

Volunteers are responsible for:

• Obtaining a recent CORI report, as well as a recent SORI report, and uploading results directly to this website (via the form uploader).

 

* You may Bring printed copies during the registration and evaluation period.

All information is kept confidential and used solely for volunteer clearance purposes.
